Privacy Policy
Last updated: 20 August 2026
LeadHarvest is a browser extension that extracts publicly visible business information from the Google Maps results page you are viewing and lets you export it as a CSV, Excel, or JSON file.
What we collect
Nothing. LeadHarvest does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal or usage data. We have no analytics, no tracking, and no servers that receive your data.
How your data is handled
- All extraction and export happens locally in your browser.
- Extracted business data is held in the extension only for the duration of your session and is written to a file only when you click export. It is never sent anywhere.
- The only outbound network request the extension makes is to validate your license key when you activate a paid license, via our own endpoint, which forwards it to our merchant of record Creem. That request contains your license key and a randomly generated device identifier — no browsing data and no extracted data. See Creem's privacy policy.
Permissions
- Host access to google.com/maps — to read the business listings on the Maps page you are actively viewing.
- storage — to remember your license activation state on your device.
- activeTab / scripting / sidePanel — to run the tool's interface and read the current Maps tab when you start an extraction.
We request no other host access and never read pages outside Google Maps.
